I am an experienced, enthusiastic and committed teacher, and have taught students of many different ages and abilities. I have over fifteen years' experience teaching privately as well as in schools, for music services and leading workshops.

I welcome students for online lessons on flute, recorder, fife, Nuvo Toot (beginner flute), bamboo world flutes, piano (beginners) and music theory.

My teaching experience covers a wide variety of work. I have held flute and piano teaching positions in a number of London primary and secondary schools, and at Blackheath Conservatoire, where my students achieved grade exam results from both the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall. I have also held positions at Lewisham Music Service and Deptford Music Centre as an ensemble leader (recorder and flute ensembles) and as a theory teacher (taught in classes), where many of my students achieved Grade 5 theory (plus other grades). I have worked as a deputy flute teacher in the Junior Department of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance since 2013.

I love teaching and working with different people. Through fun and engaging lessons, I tailor my work to meet each individual students' needs. I adopt a thorough approach to teaching all aspects of technique, and highlight the importance of working on posture, breath control and technique right from the beginning. My lessons are designed to help the student develop creativity, musicality, improvisation, music theory and memorisation of music.

I have given workshops and masterclasses both online and in schools and institutions around the UK and abroad. I have delivered these individually and with various ensembles, as well as for organisations including Making Music, Concordia Foundation, St Paul's Sinfonia (Greenwich), many UK music societies, and for KAUST University in Thuwul, Saudi Arabia and the British International School in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. I have run courses for Cambridgeshire Holiday Orchestra, Flute School London, E-Flute Fest, and have given masterclasses at Trinity Laban, the Purcell School, and at the Royal Festival Hall for the Mayor's Scholar's Fund.

I have worked for Music in Hospitals and Care and Lost Chord giving interactive concerts in care homes and schools, and have also given interactive concerts for parents and babies/toddlers at the Wigmore Hall 'For Crying Out Loud' series and for 'Piccolo Music for Little Ears' series in Peterborough.
