I am a SW London based singing and flute tutor willing to teach a wide variety of ages (7 and up), stages in vocal development, and repertoire (classical, choral, jazz/cabaret/pop). I can also teach music theory relevant to practical studies. I am passionate about helping pupils to get the most out of their singing or playing and to develop their enjoyment of music through work on good technique and exciting repertoire.

I have just completed an MMus in Vocal Performance at Birmingham Conservatoire, which has included a Pedagogy module passed with Distinction, and observations with many types of music teaching all over Birmingham. I have a first class BA (Hons) in music from the University of Oxford, and extensive performing experience in flute and voice recitals, operatic stage experience, orchestral flute experience, and appearances as a soprano soloist. I was also a choral scholar at Exeter College while at University.

Professional development for my teaching has included attendance at the Music Education Expo Conference in London, and the Association of Teachers of Singing South East Development Day.

I currently study singing with Louise Crane, have studied in Oxford with Fiona Dobie, and studied flute in London with Stina Wilson-Dawes.
