Rachelle has a number of years teaching experience, working with pupils aged 4-70 (including those with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities). Many of her pupils enjoy working towards and taking exams, with a 100% pass rate (many gaining merit/distinction), but she also has pupils who just want to learn for fun. Rachelle organises concerts annually to provide pupils with a platform for showcasing their musical skills if they wish. Last years' concert had over 35 performers with a friendly, encouraging audience.

In recent years, Rachelle's pupils have been invited to play in prestigious 'ABRSM High Achievers' concerts to celebrate them achieving some of the best results in the area.

Having graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a BMus(Hons) and as winner of the Undergraduate Pedagogy (art of teaching) Prize in 2016, Rachelle has recently completed a PGCE course, resulting in her being a qualified secondary school music teacher, working in one of the most successful schools in the area. Rachelle is currently working towards a Masters degree in Education (MA Education).

Due to working in both Primary and Secondary schools, Rachelle holds a fully enhanced DBS certificate (formerly CRB).

She was also awarded the ABRSM high achievers Fred Southall prize in 2010.

Rachelle is also able to provide a piano accompaniment service for ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall exams, as well as GCSE?A-level support for the main exam boards.
