I am flautist with 25 years teaching experience, privately and in schools, one to one, groups and ensembles. My students are all ages, and receive individualised tuition and guidance according to their needs and preferences, whether playing for fun or working towards exams or performances.

I am a member of the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra as principal flute, the Airedale Symphony Orchestra as dep principal flute. I am also a founder member of the Sospiri Wind Quintet which performs regularly.

My teaching style is open, friendly, fun and disciplined - so that my students enjoy their playing and are supported to achieve what they want. Please do get in touch if you're interested in learning the instrument or want to continue your studies with a fresh approach. I look forward to hearing from you!
