Notes:

I have been playing guitar from an early age and as a teenager I attended the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I am now currently in my final year of the Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I regularly perform in concerts and most recently toured the Outer Hebrides playing in venues such as the Cathedral of the Isles.

I have a large amount of teaching experience and I am an affiliated teacher with the Glasgow School of Guitar. I currently teach students with ages ranging from six to sixty and due to this I have to adapt and tailor my teaching method so that it suits each individual and ensures they get the most they can out of each lesson. I believe learning guitar should be an enjoyable experience, and that learning an instrument has wide ranging benefits whether you are studying just for fun or looking to take it further.

I see teaching as a serious responsibility and as long as my students show they are interested to learn I will show them as much commitment as I would to any other professional work I do. I am also a member of the PVG scheme (Protection of Vulnerable Groups).
