When I was about 8 years old I studied classical guitar for 5 years in a private music School in Parma, Italy.
Later on I decided to learn folk guitar so I could sing and play.
I also joined a few pop and classical choirs and by the age of 20 I was performing with several bands before coming to the United Kingdom.
In London I attended the Music Tech then called MI, where as well as singing lessons I was taking guitar lessons.
In 2000 decided to learn Jazz and classical piano as I thought it would help me teach vocal students.
I trained on Jazz piano with the very talented pianist Kate Williams for about three years during my university course
I have been teaching privately at students' homes or my own for over since 2008.
Between 2009- 2011 I was teaching in a private school called Umbrella Music mainly teaching classical grades ABRSM to groups of 3 children at a time.
I did a few vocal workshops in the school with up to 10-15 students truly enjoyed the experience.
I teach all levels from beginners to professionals and often prepare students for auditions and exams.
What I enjoy the most about Music apart from the performance side of things is the learning process.
I enjoy teaching students and see them progress through the years and I really like the fact that often get surprised by how fast they improve when things seem to click.
I'm quite good at tailoring my teaching to the student need and I always make sure they learn no matter how stuck they seem to be, I always praise them and encourage them to do better.
As a teacher I like to see results and if I think a particular student isn't keeping up I try and work with them to see what we can do differently.
