notable performances
Performed at three BBC Proms, one televised live playing Cor Anglais in Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique with Semyon Bychkov and another playing Cor Anglais in Ravel Piano Concerto in G with Imogen Cooper and under John Adams. Played in the onstage marching band for the world premiere of Peter Maxwell Davies's opera, Kommillitonen. Performed Stockhausen's Gruppen alongside the London Sinfonietta at the RFH. Principal oboe performing Swan Lake with the St Petersburg Ballet Orchestra.
Chamber
Member of the Venti Quintet. Performed chamber music at St. Martin in the Fields, Colston Hall and various other venues across the country. Performed Mozart's Gran Partita for thirteen winds, Dvorak Serenade, Strauss Workshops and other large scale chamber music. Performed in the band for Putting it Together at the St. James' Theatre.
Solo
Performed "in angustiis...II" for James MacMillan's 50th Birthday Celebrations at the Bridgewater Hall. Reached the Woodwind Final of the 2010 BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. Performed the Mozart Oboe Concerto with Chester Philharmonic Orchestra. Performed at The Ryedale Festival. Performed Thea Musgrave's, Night Windows as part of a celebration of the composers work and visit to the Academy.
