Notes:

I have had particular experience with younger children, teaching them singing games and basic music theory. I had a session this year which received high praise from an OFSTED inspector. Singing Medicine was a more practical experience (engaging hospitalised, occasionally seriously-ill children in musical and singing games), it was invaluable in teaching me how to act with professionalism at all times and how to perform in high-pressure situations. However, I feel equally confident when sharing my knowledge and skills with teenagers and adults both young and old.

Whilst I may have less practical experience than other tutors, my youth and my very recent experience of formal and informal performance study provides me with a great passion and energy. My performative skill in a variety of instruments (both classical and popular) means that I am able to offer beginner music tuition to people of all ages in an engaging and passionate way. I have had strong formal classical education in Singing and Piano, as well as vast popular music experience in Drums (with my band 'Yossarian'), acoustic Guitar, and Keyboards (playing in Disneyland Paris with my Swing Band).

I have a warm, friendly and open attitude, but balance this with a calm and controlled professionalism. Throughout my life so far, I have been fuelled by a burning desire to succeed as well as an unquenchable passion for music performance (popular and classical). I would love to be able to share that with you!
