Genre/Style(s): Classical to modern, as desired by the pupil.
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

With over 30 years of playing and teaching woodwind, I still remain as passionate about music today as when I started. Over the years I have had some amazing teachers, including renowned Clarinettist David Campbell, and it is the lessons I learned from my own mentors and experiences that I look to pass on to my own pupils.

Practical lessons can be tailored to the needs of the pupil, depending on their ultimate goal such as whether they are looking to pass examinations or are simply wishing to improve their performance skills. Above all, the focus is always on having fun.

In addition to one-on-one lessons, pupils can also join one of the many smaller ensemble groups that I currently run. These are typically between 3-9 pupils in size and allow pupils to experience playing in a group among other musicians.

Standalone lessons in musical theory are also available, regardless of whether a pupil wishes to have practical lessons or not. Furthermore, if a pupil does wish to focus on passing examinations, preparation for aural tests is also available.

All lessons take place in a brand new, purpose built music studio at my home address in Austerfield, near Bawtry. Pupils of all ages and standards are welcome.
