Biography

I am an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of clarinet, saxophone and recorder and am passionate about passing on my love of music to all my pupils. I teach across a broad range of abilities and ages (year 2 to adult) from my home as well as teaching clarinet and saxophone at The Mall School, Twickenham. Whilst I have successfully guided and supported many pupils through their ABRSM exams, my primary focus is in ensuring that all my lessons are enjoyable, interesting, challenging and varied. I strongly believe that progression and development go hand in hand with enjoyment and having fun.

I play regularly in a number of ensembles including Manontroppo Clarinet Quartet and Barnes Concert Band. As part of my continued professional development I study with international clarinettist David Campbell and regularly take part in workshops and conferences. I have a first class degree in music, am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and have a current DBS certificate.
