Holly is a current student studying Contemporary Composition and Saxophone at Leeds College of Music under the direction of Dr. Damien Harron, Dr. Christopher Leedham, Dr. Ben Gaunt and Sarah Markham. As part of her degree, she is currently working with professional musicians such as Carla Rees, Richard Ingham and Jérôme Laran to enhance her specialist studies. Alongside that, she is part of the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra and a range of ensembles at Leeds College of Music such as their Concert Band, Camerata, and Symphonic Wind Orchestra. She also is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and Sound & Music as well as alumni of West Suffolk Youth Music & Aldeburgh Music.

Alongside her studies, she attends conferences on the music industry and puts on talks to potential students about how to go about their journeys. This includes topics such as what's on offer to them and answers any questions that they may have about going to music college or accessing the music industry from different angles. She also attends talks on Women in Music and is an active researcher to gain women a fairer chance in the industry.

As a composer, she gets regular commissions from different companies and organisations. She collaborates with other musicians regularly and has worked with an extensive range of instrumentalists and vocalists with regards to commissions and performance opportunities.
