Notes:

Do you have a child who is keen to start learning a musical instrument?

Is your child preparing for ABRSM exams and needs extra help, or interested in switching teachers?

Are you a mature student with a passion for music?

I believe that each student is exceptionally unique, and I tailor my lessons to fit each students' abilities and interests, focusing on what needs the most improvement as well as encouraging his or her strengths.

I do not necessarily teach within any specific method, in order to ensure that I can give each student the individual attention that he or she needs. If you are interested in tackling the ABRSM grades, learning with the Suzuki method, or simply learning how to play your favourite pop songs, I am happy to help.

I have experience teaching students of all ages, play violin professionally, and have a solid foundation in musical theory. My students have started as beginners and successfully achieved Grade 8 qualifications.

I graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada (Bachelor in Music) and graduated with a Masters of Music degree from the Royal College of Music in 2012.

Recently, I have performed On BBC Radio 3 “In Tune”, and the Jubilee Quartet’s debut CD was released on Rubicon Classics to rave reviews in The Strad, Classical Source, The Times, and The Telegraph . I have worked with some of the world's most renowned chamber musicians and conductors, and have experience performing in North America and Europe.

I also have experience working with children with special needs, so please get in touch if you think your child would be interested in violin lessons.
